Clan Macfie will be the honored clan at the Charleston South Carolina Highland
Games on September 17, 2011. Also at those games, we will be hosting the 18th International Gathering of Clan Macfie. Macfies from all over the world will be in attendance as will Iain McFie, our clan commander. We are planning events and tours to begin on Thursday before the games on Saturday , as well as attending the Kirking of the Tartans on Sunday. There will be more information later this year, but mark your calendar now for this special event.

May 27 is Macfie Day, world wide. This date was set apart because Clan Macfie was formally recognized by the Lord Lyon as an active clan on 27th May 1981. We encourage Macfies, all over the world to celebrate their rich Scottish Heritage on this date each year.

The Macfie Clan Society of America annual meeting will be held in conjunction with the Stone Mountain Georgia Scottish Games on Saturday, October the 16th, 2010, on the games grounds. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
